Co-Chairs:

Yuan Feng, Shanghai Jiao Tong University

Songbai Ji, Worcester Polytechnic Institute

Curtis Johnson, University of Delaware

Andrew Knutsen, Henry M. Jackson Foundation

Gang Xu, University of Central Oklahoma

Summary:

This session is about using imaging and image analysis techniques to solve mechanics problems. The imaging methods include but not limit to MRI, CT, US, and PET. We will discuss any new imaging modalities and image processing methods that are used to make measurement, modeling systems, and produce predictions or other new information for the mechanics problems. The mechanics problems will be mainly on biomechanics, such as injury, development, and disease, from macroscale to microscale.
